A southwest Florida Gulf inlet fishery at Venice Inlet, the jettied pass between Casey Key / Nokomis and Venice. Sarasota County's North Jetty Park and the City of Venice South Jetty / Humphris Park frame the only fully jettied inlet in Sarasota County, where snook, red drum, spotted seatrout, sheepshead, and tarpon use the Gulf–ICW exchange. This is one destination — Venice Inlet — not Venice Fishing Pier at Brohard, not Caspersen Beach as a separate product, and not Charlotte Harbor.

North-side public shore access is Sarasota County North Jetty Park (1000 S. Casey Key Road, Nokomis), which lists fishing among park amenities. South-side public shore access is the City of Venice South Jetty / Humphris Park; the city states the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers owns the north and south bulkheads and jetties and is preparing a major maintenance report, and it points anglers to the Venice Fishing Pier while jetty recreation is constrained. Confirm current jetty walkway, parking, and park postings before you go. Venice Fishing Pier at Brohard is a gulf pier, not this inlet destination.
