Description
Glacial kettle pond in Walden Pond State Reservation (Massachusetts DCR), addressed in Concord, Middlesex County; USGS studies also reference the Concord–Lincoln area. USGS Water-Resources Investigations Report 01-4137 reports 24.88 hectares (about 61 acres) and a bathymetric maximum depth of 30.5 m (100 ft). DCR public materials state about 102 ft depth, and a DCR park brochure cites 103 ft; the USGS bathymetric value is used here. Seasonal boat ramp (about April 1–December 1). Average depth was not verified in the consulted USGS/DCR sources.
