Fishery overview

Liberty Reservoir is Baltimore’s western water-supply lake and a featured MD DNR hotspot: landlocked striped bass, naturally reproducing walleye, largemouth and smallmouth, plus trout and a full warmwater supporting cast. It is not Prettyboy, not Loch Raven, and not the Patapsco river corridor.
