Overholser is Oklahoma City’s oldest reservoir (1919), a shallow ~1,500-acre canal-connected lake west of town, not Hefner and not Thunderbird. ODWC annually stocks channel catfish and hybrid striped bass. A City of Oklahoma City fishing license is required in addition to the state license. Swimming is prohibited.
